CHADRON TITANS SPONSORS MAKE IT HAPPEN

Remember these names:TACO JOHNS OF CHADRON, DONALD'S HOT STUFF PIZZA, AND NEBRASKALAND TIRE CO.If it weren't for these businesses, the Titans would not be allowed to play any of their "three" scheduled home games in Chadron. Without going into detail, the Titans were issued a "Friday closing time" deadline to come up with insurance coverage. The insurance company (name withheld), sensing desparation, gave a quote that exceeded $500. In short, thank you Taco Johns of Chadron, Donald's Hot Stuff Pizza, and Nebraskaland Tire Co. for backing this fine team, enabling the Titans to play their three games on their home field, in front of their home crowd.

The Chadron junior, senior, future Legion players, parents, and fans should keep this all in mind. This year's Titans have paved the way for teams in the future once Legion careers come to an end. They have bridged the gap for ball players to continue well beyond high school. For some reason, the Titans are not welcome to play in Chadron. This is something you'll have to get used to when you're done playing Legion in Chadron. You have no value compared to Legion. The years you've put in, sacraficing for your coach and team will come to an abrupt end once you graduate. Take a minute to think about the four short years you play Legion compared to the thirty-plus years you will have to continue playing town team ball. It's time that the community leaders recognize these opportunities and encourage them instead of discouraging them. To the parents of Legion players: baseball doesn't have to end at Legion or even college. A big thanks goes out to Ty, Charlie, and Jessica for their diligence and vision.
